Well, here it is 2004 and almost two years since our last reunion. We hope everyone is ready for a good time April 16-17th at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront Resort in Cocoa Beach. It is a Fun Spree Resort on 27 acres with 2 restaurants and numerous ballrooms. There's a huge swimming pool (heated) plus a separate pool for children featuring a pirate ship (if anyone wants to bring the grandkids). We've negotiated a very good beach rate of $69 + tax per double room. You can make reservations by calling 321-783-2271.
We're planning a 5-7 PM reception Friday and a dinner/dance for Saturday from 7 to 11 PM in one of the hotel ballrooms - cash bar both nights. Due to price increases we've decided on a BBQ Buffet for Saturday night. We'll have BBQ Ribs, Beef, Chicken and Pulled Pork with all the trimmings. Of course, if anyone needs a special meal, that can be accommodated with advance notice. Please be sure to let us know of any special dietary needs when you return your reservation/check.
There's lots to do in that area from the famous Ron Jon's Surf Shop to Cape Canaveral sight seeing tours to gambling day trips on casino cruises and golfing. There are also lots of good restaurants in the area, and we'll try to have a list of the better ones for you when you check in. Please make your hotel reservations now and ask for the Dynatronics/General Dynamics Reunion rate of $69. This rate will be honored for a longer period if you desire to extend your visit in Cocoa Beach, so please notify the hotel when making your reservations.
We must confirm attendance and food requests for the reception and the banquet by April 9th, so please fill out the following form and send it with your check payable to Dynatronics/General Dynamics Reunion and mail to Judy Gilbreath or Pat Dentel as soon as possible at the addresses listed below.
